Echoes

san jose

Standing sentinel against the ravages of time

They whisper reminders of the past

The silent screams of forgotten relics

Pleading to be heard-

Defiant amid the din of today

Long after the last word is spoken

And the final breath is drawn

The echoes linger.

You have only to listen

And you can know their secrets.
