Spreading The Positive Vibes

I’m always so excited when I get to accomplish something from my 101 in 1001 goals list, and today I got to do one of my favorites!! I absolutely HAD to share with y’all!

40. Leave an inspirational note in a book for someone to find

I took a trip to my local book store (for totally legitimate reasons…I need to relearn enough French to test out of it!!), post-it pad in hand, and left some love notes behind in some books!

Now this seems like a simple enough task, right?  But then you start looking around, trying to be discreet, but looking for books that have a pretty good chance of being picked up and taken home.  All of a sudden, book stores have A LOT of books!!

Here’s a little sampler of what I left behind:

A children’s book that may or may not be the most popular movie release of this weekend

A popular romance author’s newest book

A book on paleo dieting

**Note- my logo wasn’t included on the original notes.  That would have been a little pompous, I think 🙂  Yes, I felt like I needed to make that clear! haha

I had so much fun with this that I think I’ll be doing it again!  There’s just something that feels so good knowing that someday- who knows when- someone will find it and they’ll smile… You know?  Random acts of kindness feel so good!

QOTD: Have you ever committed or been the recipient of a random act of kindness?  What sorts of things have you done?

    1. It’s so much fun! It kind of felt like I was some kind of bandit sneaking things…like that insurance commercial with the girl that goes behind the thieves and replaces stuff all stealthily. Heehee 🙂 I think next time I’m going to focus on the kids and teen sections 🙂
